#TBT to last November when I wrote this poem.

Mark was fairly normal

Or so he’d always thought

But somehow he got singled out

And by his school friends caught

They broke and bruised his body

And soon they reached his mind

They told him he was nothing

Until he became blind

He was not the only one

For similar was Lucy’s fate

They tore her down to nothing

And now all she knows is hate

They put all kinds of stupid thoughts

Up in her poor head
But they fail to realise
That soon she might be dead

Yet those are not the only ones
There are also people who

Don’t have any real friends

There’s no one they can turn to

They’re not invited to the parties

Ignored by all their “friends”

They’re forced to sit and play alone

And have to bring their own pens

The problem goes beyond the schools

Beyond the parks and playgrounds

It’s also on the internet

In messages and sounds

It’s not just the children

Though sometimes they are cruel

It’s also grown-up adults

Who should be more difficult to fool

What’s even worse than all of this

Are the people who don’t dare

To speak up when they notice

Someone crying in despair

If you ever see someone

Who’s picked on, lonely, hurt

Please give them a helping hand

And teach them they’re not dirt.

Ansel Elgort a.k.a Ansolo

2014-08-25, at 19:48:25
Lately (especially after watching The Fault In Our Stars) I've fallen head over heels for Ansel Elgort,
who plays Augustus Waters in TFIOS. I'd seen him talk a bit about his music project on Instagram,
so after a bit of stalking I managed to find his soundcloud and Spotify accounts.
At first, I was a bit sceptical towards his music, because house (which, apparently, is what he makes and remixes... I actually have no clue whether that's correct or not) isn't exactly something I listen to on a regular basis, but much to my surprise, I actually love his music!
It's perfect to just have on in the background,
while you're studying, cleaning, chilling et.c. It's also perfect to play during a one-man dance party in your room when you're feeling a bit silly. Unfortunately, there aren't very many songs out yet, but the ones that have been released are amazing, and it's almost impossible to get tired of listening to them.

/I couldn't choose just one favourite song so I'm posting all of them/

If you want to check Ansel out or follow him on Spotify, you can do so here:

Eleven's hour is over now...

Today is both an amazing and a very sad day to be a Whovian (not Dweek, I refuse to accept that term),
because today is the day that Capaldi takes over the show in his very first entire episode.
Sure, officially we said goodbye to Matt Smith last December already, but we didn't really get to see that much of Capaldi. I think a lot of Whovians are very excited and nervous right now. Excited because their favourite TV-series is finally on again, and nervous because will Capaldi be as extraordinary as Matt Smith or David Tennant?
To me, saying goodbye to Tennant and Smith was very difficult.
Tennant is the Doctor I grew up with, so quite naturally he's MY Doctor and holds a very special place in my heart. I was very suspicious towards Smith when he took over, but I ended up falling a little bit further in love with him in every episode. He's not really my doctor, but he sure is my Raggedy Man.
In a little less than half an hour,
we'll find out if Capaldi's able to fill out the big shoes left behind by his predecessors.
The first episode of Season 8, called Deep Breath, will premiere on BBC 1 at 7:50 GMT tonight.
Will you be watching it with me?
